Privacy Policy
ABQ Landscape Co is a local landscaping business, not a data business. The information described below exists so that we can quote and complete work, and for no other reason.
Information you provide. When you telephone, the call presents the number you are calling from, and we record in our notes what you tell us: the property, its access, the condition of the yard, what you would like done and when. Calls may be recorded, chiefly so that details described verbally are not lost between the conversation and the site visit. Where you submit a request through the website instead, we hold what you entered on that form.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, this one produces server and analytics records: the browser and device making the request, the pages opened, and the general region the visit came from. These are counts and technical details rather than a personal profile.
The use we make of it. We reply to enquiries, prepare and schedule estimates, and carry out agreed work. Enquiry information is not turned into advertising audiences, and we do not use it to approach people who have not approached us.
Disclosure, and the limits on it. Personal information is not sold, rented or exchanged with anyone. Within the business it is available to those arranging or performing your work. Outside it, only to the ordinary providers that keep a business operating — the telephone service that carries calls, the hosting that serves this website — and those providers act under our instructions rather than for their own purposes. Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law obliges us to.
Retention. Enquiry and job records are kept for as long as they remain useful for scheduling, follow-up and ordinary business records, and are disposed of when that period ends.
Cookies and analytics. Standard analytics tools may set cookies to measure how the site is used. Browsers allow these to be blocked or deleted, and the site works either way.
Your rights over this information. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. You may also ask, at the beginning of a call, that the call not be recorded.
Changes. A revised policy is published on this page.
